I love TED. If you don't know what this is don't feel bad - I didn't either until a couple of years ago. I work in Genetics and some of our staff have given talks at TEDx and every once in a while someone would send me the link to a talk that thy enjoyed. Basically it gives you access to all of the brilliant minds in tons of different fields given 15-20 minute talks on a range of subjects. Just go in and search. I watch all the time now at work while I'm scanning medical records into the computer. You will absolutely be inspired and I have learned so much.
This talk is by Liz Gilbert author of several books including Eat Pray Love. She talks about the creative process. I'm sharing the video with you because I was floored by her interview with Ruth Stone, who died in 2011... but she talks about how creativity would seek her out when she was just a little girl in rural VA. (that part is about 10 mins in - if you don't have time to watch the whole talk.)
