2012 Started with a Bang

..so my hernia incarcerated on my birthday (2/2) - and of course I ended up in the bathroom floor at work and had to be rescued by ambulance and taken to the big bad ER....escorted by my boss (I love you) and then rescued by my bestie (I love you).

I was ordered by the doc to have the hernia repaired :( ...I'd had it for so long *sigh* - oh well!

I did a rush plan on my birthday party so I could get it out of the way before the surgery.

It was RAD - Hello Kitty - all my friends at the skating rink and SO much fun! I got TONS of awesome HK Loot! (click the pics to see where everything came from)

So in between the ER and the OR 3 days after my party I contracted the flu (but not the flu because I had my flu shot - so we'll call the virus that shall not be named) unconscious for a full 7 days with fever and delirioum. Thank goodness for my kiddos :)

I had my surgery last Wednesday and I must say it's nice to not have the fist size knot protruding from above my belly button!

I'm excited to be all healed up so I can start working on abs!!Hopefully I used up all my drama in the first months of the new year and it will be smooth sailing from here on out! YAY!
